If your company is exploring Africa, Nigeria is the right place to start and Dhruv Star is the right partner to guide you.
When global businesses think of entering Africa, Nigeria is often the first destination; and for good reason. With over 220 million people, a rapidly growing middle class, and one of the continent’s largest economies, Nigeria is both a marketplace and a launchpad into the wider African continent.
Why Nigeria is the Gateway to Africa
- Population & Demand: Nigeria accounts for nearly 1 in 6 Africans, creating unmatched consumer demand across industries — from FMCG and fashion to tech and infrastructure.
- Strategic Location: With major ports in Lagos and trade links to West Africa, Nigeria offers easier access to surrounding markets.
- Diverse Economy: Beyond oil, Nigeria is a hub for manufacturing, agriculture, fintech, and construction: sectors where global players can thrive.
- Youthful Workforce: Over 60% of Nigerians are under 25, a dynamic, entrepreneurial generation driving innovation and consumption.
